On May 5, 2026, the MAP Radio team held a community meeting in Pong Yaeng Village, Chiang Mai, to connect directly with our audience. The main goal of the gathering was to share news about the station and, most importantly, to listen to feedback from the people who tune in every day. This helps us ensure our programs stay helpful and relevant to the community's needs.

During the meeting, our staff explained the different educational programs we offer and shared updates about the station's work. Listeners had the chance to voice their opinions and share how the information they hear on the radio and from MAP Foudations social media channels helps them in their daily lives while living in Thailand as Migrant from Myanmar.  It was a great opportunity for the community to talk about their personal experiences and how they use the knowledge they gain from our broadcasts.

Around 20 migrant workers from Shan State, Myanmar, including men, women, and their children, joined the discussion. By meeting face-to-face with these families, MAP Radio can better understand the challenges they face. We are committed to using this feedback to improve our programs and continue supporting the migrant community through informative and engaging radio content.
