𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤
The Northern Labor Network and partners jointly organized a “Decent Work” event on 15 Oct 2024 at the Social Science Faculty, Chiang Mai University. The event featured discussions and seminars on topics such as Decent Work and Chiang Mai's Future Economy, Labor Rights in the Creative Economy Industry, and National Action Plans on Business and Human Rights (NAP). Each session concluded with a Q&A, where migrant workers exchanged and share their issues.
The event successfully highlighted the urgent need for improved labor rights and conditions, particularly for migrant workers, and fostered stronger collaboration among stakeholders to address these issues in the new economy
