Chiang Mai – On 31 October 2026, MAP Radio 97.5 MHz held a one-day workshop on “Effective Radio Presentation Techniques for DJs” for approximately 20 participants from three member stations of its network. The workshop aimed to strengthen broadcasting skills and encourage effective, ethical, and responsible radio presentation.

As an important source of information for migrant communities in Thailand, MAP Radio plays a vital role in sharing news, labour rights information, and public announcements in languages that migrant audiences can understand. Strengthening the skills of radio presenters helps ensure that information is communicated clearly, accurately, and effectively.

During the workshop, participants explored seven key criteria for topic selection, content summarization and condensing skills, four essential pillars of condensing information, broadcasting ethics and guidelines, and eight principles of professional broadcasting. These sessions focused on helping DJs select relevant topics, organize information effectively, and deliver clear and engaging radio programme while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.

Participants also applied their learning through a practical exercise using a one-hour radio show clock format provided by the trainer. The exercise helped them understand how to organize programme segments, manage airtime, and create a logical flow for their broadcasts.

The workshop was led by Sai Yiphong Mueng Jaichuen, Chief Editor of the Shan Herald Agency for News (2012–present), and Saengmuang Mangkorn, Director of MAP Radio. Both trainers shared their extensive experience in radio broadcasting and multimedia production to support participants' professional development.

MAP Radio thanks the trainers for sharing their expertise and all participants for their active involvement and commitment to learning.
