This year, Chiang Mai has been severely affected by flooding, impacting many migrant worker families, particularly those in the Elephant Camp in Mae Taman, Mae Taeng District. The flooding cut off transportation, leaving migrant workers unable to go back to their home. Many are currently staying in small villages around the elephant camp. On October 5th, 2024, the MAP Foundation reached out to the community, providing survival bags to the migrant families affected by the floods. We hope this support helps them during this difficult time, and we remain committed to assisting migrant workers in need.
