APHEDA Union Members Visit MAP Radio

On 7 November, APHEDA Union members visited MAP Radio and met with DJs and listeners. During the visit, they listened to stories and experiences with MAP Radio from both the DJs and the listeners, reflecting MAP Radio’s journey of over 20 years in serving the migrant community. The APHEDA also observed the radio station, learning about our broadcasting process, programs, and how MAP Radio continues to empower migrants through information, education and dialogue.

In the afternoon, we had a community outreach to Pong Yang village, to see and better understand the lives of our listeners. They met with local farmers, observed their daily work, and held a brief meeting to discuss their livelihoods and challenges, and see the farms. The visit fostered meaningful connections and a valuable exchange between the union members, MAP Multimedia team, and the migrant workers in Pong Yang.
