Job Opening: Office Manager (1 Position)
The Office Manager works with the Administrative Support Unit, focusing on general management, including staff, finances, accounting, office equipment, office policies and procedures, and secretarial duties. This position will report directly to the Director of MAP Foundation.
Job Summary:
- Pay utility bills, and phone and internet bills for Chiang Mai and Mae Sot offices.
- Purchase office supplies and equipment for the Chiang Mai office.
- Manage the foundation's vehicles (tax renewal, compulsory insurance, insurance, and maintenance).
- Ensure the safety and orderliness of the Chiang Mai office.
- Coordinate for the rental contract, fire insurance and other property.
- Manage the admin costs for Chiang Mai office.
- Supervise and monitor the housekeeper and ensure the cleanliness of the offices.
- Provide information to government agencies and other visiting organizations.
- Manage and purchase assets and equipment.
- Organize monthly staff meetings, including taking meeting minutes.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, issue letters, and necessary documents for staff.
- Coordinate internal and external office management.
- Assist with other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Thai language is required (speak, read, and write)
- English, Burmese, or Shan are a plus.
- Experience in office management, procurement, and administrative work.
- Software: Microsoft office
- Good interpersonal and communication
- Can work in multi-cultural setting.
- Is willing to work flexible hours when needed and to travel frequently.
- Able to drive and have a driving license is desirable.
- Can start immediately is a plus.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
